Hi, today I am going to write about BlogRush and its performance since it came into existence. BlogRush is a brand new site which is used to increase the traffic to our blogs. Generally it has been designed with a great motive which did not give results up to the mark.

Let me explain you how blogrush works. They will provide you with a code for the widget which you have to add it in your blog or your website.Now after adding that widget in your site or your blog, when any one open that site, the widget shows latest posts of sites and those are the sites who keep widgets like you. So for each visit you get after placing the widget, your post will be placed in the widget in other sites and how many times your posts are placed in the other widgets are equal to visits you get with that widget.

So that's really a good concept and when it was launched it even got popular within days and the Alexa ranking boosted very quickly. I never saw a site which got a very good Alexa rank within days. I also liked the concept and started using that. So every one thought that it was a big success but its output is not up to the mark. Reasons are as follows:

1)Generally considering yourself chances of clicking the links in the widget are very less because we generally don't care much about that as some posts even though have good content which we like but the titles are poor.

2)If the title of the post is too long then not every thing will be added in the widget so incomplete title does not attract much.

3)Impression fraud because some useless blogs just for the sake of visitors make fraud impressions by using rotators, auto surfs etc.

4)Now the fourth one is due to non customisable widget features like the size and the colours etc.

5)As its not a pay per click or any thing benificial of that sort people generally use that at the lower end of their blog or website which provide less attention to viewers.

6)As many of the people are living on sponsored posts on their blogs so they are loosing their chances as widget also shows sponsored posts.

Due to all these out breaks at a stage it was in such a situation which, every one though that this will loose its craze due to less clickthru rate. Considering all these issues many people started complaining to BlogRush people and then blogrush guyz started making changes as follows.

1) They are going to manually verify all the blogs in the blogrush sites so any blog with useless content will be removed from their site.

2) They have added different types of colours for the widgets so we can choose which type of widget we want.




3) They have added a post filter inorder to eliminate sponsored posts and widget filter in order to remove any post with a specified word. For example if you dont want to get any posts which contain "games" then if you specify that then your widget will not contain any posts which has games in their title.

4) Also if you are not willing to get any posts from a blog in your widget then that is also possible by just entering the URL of the blog.

So right now these are the changes BlogRush made and lets hope the click through rate may increase due to that.
